Terms of Use

Last updated: September 13, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Sky Nurses medical escort platform, website, and mobile application. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Sky Nurses provides a platform that connects client organizations (hospitals, insurers, travel assistance companies, and similar) with credentialed healthcare professionals for medical escort and patient repatriation missions on commercial flights. The platform supports mission posting, clinician credentialing, itineraries, patient charting, invoicing, and related coordination tools.

2. Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
  • Clinician applicants must complete credentialing review before being matched to missions. Sky Nurses may approve or decline applications at its discretion.
  • Client organization users act on behalf of their organization and must have authority to do so.

3. Eligibility of Clinicians

Clinicians must hold a valid, unrestricted professional license and maintain the certifications, insurance, and travel documents required for the missions they accept. Clinicians are independent contractors, not employees of Sky Nurses, and are solely responsible for practicing within the scope and standards of their profession and the laws of the applicable jurisdictions.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the platform, you agree not to:

  • Access patient charts, credentials, or other records that do not belong to your case or assignment.
  • Share your login, share signed document links, or forward private documents outside the platform.
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent credentials, assessments, or expense records.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of healthcare, privacy, or consumer-protection laws.
  • Interfere with the platform's operation, security controls, or audit systems, or attempt to access data of other users.

5. Patient Records & Clinical Documentation

Clinical documentation created on the platform — including patient charts, flight-segment records, assessments, and consent forms — constitutes part of the patient's medical record. Entries may be signed and locked; changes after signing are recorded as addenda, and all access to records is audited. Falsifying or altering clinical records is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.

6. Mission Bookings, Payments & Cancellation

  • Mission details, compensation, per diems, and expense arrangements are as stated on each mission posting or associated quote.
  • Client organizations are responsible for the accuracy of the patient information they submit and for obtaining necessary authorizations and consents for transport.
  • Payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment gateways; invoices and payment terms are presented with each invoice.
  • Sky Nurses may cancel or reschedule a mission when clinically necessary, for safety, or due to circumstances beyond its control.

7. Intellectual Property

The platform, its content, and its design are owned by Sky Nurses and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as credentials and clinical notes), and you grant Sky Nurses the license needed to store, display, and use that content to operate the platform and provide the services.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. Sky Nurses does not provide medical advice through the platform itself; medical care is delivered by the independent clinicians using it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sky Nurses is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and its aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the fees you paid to Sky Nurses through the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, credentialing failures, safety concerns, or non-payment. You may stop using the platform at any time; sections that should reasonably survive termination (including those covering patient records, liability, and payment obligations) remain in effect.

10. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms as the platform evolves; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
