How missions work
The terms that keep every repatriation safe, fair, and professionally run — for clinicians, patients, and families.
Our Policy and Procedures
Last updated September 2026
Licensing & Credentials
Clinicians must hold an active, unblemished license in their specialty and upload current credentials (License, BLS, ACLS, or PALS) before their first mission. Expired credentials pause mission eligibility until renewed.
Payment & Per Diem
Clinicians are paid a daily rate for each mission day plus a per diem for each day away. Payment is issued within 14 days of mission completion and a submitted trip report.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a mission is cancelled by the client or the patient's condition changes, clinicians are compensated for confirmed travel days already committed. Clinicians who cancel within 72 hours of departure may be deprioritized for future missions.
Patient Confidentiality
All patient information encountered on a mission is confidential and protected. Clinicians may not share patient details, photos, or records with anyone outside the care and coordination team.
Professional Conduct
Clinicians represent the care team for the entire trip: bedside meetings, ground transfers, and the flight itself. Punctuality, clinical dress code, and courteous communication with patients and families are expected at all times.
Travel & Documentation
Clinicians are responsible for maintaining a valid passport and any required visas or entry documents. Flights, ground transfers, and accommodation are arranged and booked by our coordination team.
